EMPORIA — Judy Heasley, Emporia State University’s executive director of university advancement, will begin working with the Kansas Board of Regents next week, the university announced Monday.
Interim President H. Edward Flentje said Heasley will begin work on special projects at the Board of Regents beginning Aug. 22.
“I believe this assignment will be a productive application of Judy’s skills and broad experiences,” Flentje said.
Before coming to Emporia State in 2007 as Foundation president and CEO, Heasley held positions of responsibility at Arizona State University, Fort Lewis College, Texas Tech University and Weber State University. She has been active with various organizations in the Emporia community, including the Emporia Rotary Club and serving on the board of trustees for the United Way of the Flint Hills.
“I am looking forward to working with Regents staff and assisting with critical projects that support improvements in the Kansas higher education system,” Heasley said. Read More
